Designed for the popular 45 size turbines from Xicoy and KingTech, the Helios is an all-wood model, with a quickly removable fibreglass nosecone giving easy access to the battery packs. The airframe is supplied fully built and covered in film, and the centre section of the wing comes permanently fitted to the fuselage, with the retracts fitted into the centre section, meaning that the only connection to the wing panels is for the aileron servos.
The model has been designed to be extremely quick and simple to assemble, and has a specially developed wing section that all but eliminates tip-stalling, to give newcomers to jets a very stable and safe platform to learn on, whilst allowing experienced pilots to relax and enjoy the fantastic flying characteristics.
As well as the airframe, we also offer as options a dedicated JP Hobby electric retract set, 1.3L composite fuel tank, tailpipe etc, as well as suitable servos and a set of extension leads made to precise lengths to suit the model.
